Description

Experience the great flavor of the Flank Steak.

There are only TWO Flank Steaks available in each bison, making the Bison Flank Steak a rare treat. This particular steak also just so happens to be Randy’s (our owner) favorite cut!

The flank is a great steak for using in fajitas, salads and stir frys.

The 16 oz. Bison Flank Steak is best prepared with marinades or spice rubs, so you can really do a lot with your meals when you cook with the flank. While delicious served from the grill with sides of veggies, this large Bison Flank Steak is also a great choice if you are looking for a steak to use in stir fry, fajitas, wraps or other dishes!

Our prime bison steaks are a cut above the rest in flavor, tenderness and quality because we work hard to make sure our bison are raised with great care in the best way possible and that our meat is butchered and packaged by a top notch team.

Delicious flank steak

Excellent! Very tender and juicy ….., and so much healthier than beef that we feel good eating it.

I have enjoyed eating this meat. It is good whether I grill it or cook it in the air fryer. It practically melts in my mouth.

The best!

I've be doing business with Nebraska bison for years. Never had a problem with my order or delivery issues. And if there was an issue, that I ordered something wrong, fat fingered my order, lol, just e-mail them and they will be in contact you same day, usually within an hour or so. I use the bison flank steak to smoke bison jerky, delicious!

Frequently asked questions

How will my meat ship?

Orders ship in styrofoam coolers with dry ice. Orders ship Mondays - Wednesdays (depending on your location) via FedEx. Click here for more information on our shipping policy.

How is the meat packaged?

Most items are individually vacuum sealed and placed in boxes before being added to a styrofoam cooler for shipping.

What does bison meat taste like?

Bison has a rich, clean and slightly sweet flavor. You'll notice a difference from your first bite! Bison has a deep red color -- and a lot less marbling, but remains incredibly tender!

Our responsibly ranch raised philosophy and the freedom of our animals to graze and roam freely ensures that our meat is of superior quality which you will notice in taste and appearance.

How do I cook bison meat?

Bison meat is much leaner than most other meats, so it's important to take care while cooking.

We recommend cooking bison meat low and slow to ensure tender and flavorful meat.

When cooking bison steaks, we recommend not cooking past medium doneness.

What is the difference between bison and buffalo?

The American Bison is the proper name for the animal that early western settlers referred to as "buffalo".

However, because the word "buffalo" is so ingrained in our language and culture, it is generally considered acceptable to use "buffalo" and "bison" interchangeably in North America.
