What does bison meat taste like?
Bison has a rich, clean and slightly sweet flavor. You'll notice a difference from your first bite! Bison steaks have a deep red color -- and a lot less marbling, but remain incredible tender!

What casings are used in the bison sausages?
Our Bison Hot Dogs, and Brats do not have any casing.
Our Bison Summer Sausage and Bison Breakfast Sausage links use a collagen casing.
How do I cook bison sausages?
Most of our Bison Sausage options are fully cooked, including Bison Hot Dogs, Bison Bratwurst, Bison Italian Sausage. Cooking these is more about heating them up to your liking. They are great on the great on the grill and on the stove top.
The Bison Breakfast Sausage is raw and will need to be fully cooked before serving.
The Bison Summer Sausage is fully cooked and does not require any heating or cooking before serving. Remove the casing, slice and serve.
