NOTE FOR COOKING: These sausages are already fully cooked, so when you prepare them, it is just to heat them up. Because Elk is very lean, it is important to cook these low and slow. When they are cooked with too high of heat or too fast, the skin can get tough. Medium low heat is best! You can do this on the grill or the stove top, just take care with the heat!
